The Scarlett Arms is a traditional British pub that serves great food!
We would be happy to serve you
We deliberately keep our menus small at The Scarlett Arms, this ensures freshness and allows us to utilise local seasonal produce.
We hold fantastic themed food nights including our popular Malaysian and Indian nights on a regular basis. We also have specials that change regularly.
We endeavour to cook with local, sustainable and ethical produce and our staff will be happy to talk about the provenance of our ingredients.
Our menus are available at all times and have all the classic English dishes you would expect in a quality pub as well as a range of home-made desserts and quality coffee and speciality teas from around the world.
Please note that using local and seasonal ingredients means that our menus change frequently. However should you wish to order a specific dish please call ahead to check we are serving it or if we can accommodate it for you.
The Scarlett Arms is a Hall & Woodhouse pub. We stock cask conditioned ales, refreshing lagers and ciders, and wholesome stouts.
We endeavour to keep Badger Ale, Sussex on our pumps at all times, and have a Guest Hall & Woodhouse Ale which changes seasonally. Our current Guest Ale is Twilight Tawny, a dark rich porter ale.
You can find out more about Hall & Woodhouse, a family run regional brewer and its famous ales here.
As well as the wonderful ales on pump, we also stock a range of Hall & Woodhouse’s bottled beers, including Golden Champion, Golden Glory, England’s Own, and Blandford Flyer.
Wine lovers are well catered for at The Scarlett Arms, with the majority of wines available by the glass or by the bottle.
Please see our drop down menu to see samples of our food menus and drinks lists (please note, we will attempt to keep these as up-to-date as possible, but we apologise if you find that the menus are not entirely identical to those in house at the time).
Every now and again, we get the chance to offer you a special menu to coincide with an event or celebration, please feel free to download them to find out more.
Please download one of our menus to browse over in your own time.
To avoid disappointment – please take note of the Hours of business for serving food (found on the home page), when booking a table time as they can vary.
